I have just found this web site and was interested to read some of my families history. I hope this is useful to someone.
My grandfather was George Caudell 1896-1938 (Faringdon) his father was Walter Richard 1859 -1915 who married an Ellen Raymond
My great grandfather was Willian Henry 1834-1888 altham St Lawrence who married an Emma Baylis (oxford)
We then go back to William Caudell 1834-1888 (w st L)
Then back to William 1690-1749 who married Ann Blakeney in 1732
My grandfathers sister Ellen emigrated to Canada in the 1920sor 1930s??????
I have been in touch with Doris Goode since the late 1970s hoping to find a common link and after nearly 20 years
we did
I think the Martin Caudell who left messages, his grandfather and my grandfather were brothers
