This is one of those "long-shot" postings. I am looking for information on my grandmother. She died fairly young in 1917. I have next to no info about her.
While looking through some family pictures that my dad left me - I found one that said "JF Caudell & RA Caudell (this is your grandmother Imes and her 2nd husband LeLoys Kans)" So this was my dad's grandmother and her 2nd husband.
I would guess the picture was taken mid-1800s in Kansas. My dad was born in Ottawa Kansas - so I would think his mom might be from that area too.
