I have heard my mother speak of the Caudell family often in regards to my Father's family in Sturgis, Ky. She has menetion a man, who only has been referred to as Pap and apparently he is a Caudell. my Grandfather Charles Hayes b. 1906 d. abt 1989 married his 2nd wife Dolly Hayden after 1929/1930, she was often referred to as "Mom Dolly" by my father, she was his step-mother. It is Dolly Hayden who is related to the Caudell family, but how she is in relation to this family I do not know. I dont know if Pap Caudell was Dolly's father, Grandfather or ??? I have no information on Dolly. I am not sure if Hayden is her maiden name or a sunname from a previous marriage. All I basicly know is that they (Caudell and Hayes) and some of their descendents lived and still live in Sturgis, Ky area. I am hoping someone might have some information.
