Don't think I have followed up on this message. My great, great grandfather was a James Catterson. He was born in Ireland about 1778, presumably at or near Castlederg, and came to Scotland around 1800. He married Catherine Johnston in Lochgilphead about 1815. My great grandfather John was born in Barrhead to which the family had moved. My father William emigrated to Canada in 1920. I would be interested in your family tree.
