The Cattell Family in America book by Donald Heys Rogers lists her parents as Thomas Ware Cattell (who is the son of Thomas Ware Cattell & Keziah Gilmore, my husband's Great Great Grandparents) and Anna Cushing Ashburner, dau of John Ashburner. She had eight sisters and one brother. Thomas was a Presbyterian Minister & a Professor of Mathematics at Lincoln University, Chester Co. PA

You can order the new Cattell Family book from The Gloucester County Historical Society, 17 Hunter Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. It gives a lot of good information & takes our family back to Jonas Cattell, a Quaker & a blacksmith, who was born about 1690.
