Can you look up and see if William Cattell migrated to the colonies by way of Charleston, SC. I find some records indicating that a Wm. Cattell was appoint a SC Justice of the Peace in 1734 at Charleston. I also find a Cattell's Creek in south Orangeburg, SC near St. George Parish Church - now St. George, SC. My ancestor lived on Cattell's Creek and I suspect he, Hardy Williams, may have married a Cattell daughter/woman. Thanks in advance. Clydene
