Hello Rob
Enoch Cattell was my great grandfather.
He was christened 18 Jan 1824 at St Bartholomew's, Wednesbury, Staffordshire.
His parents were William Cattell born c1781 and Elizabeth Harrison born c1785 both in Wednesbury.
Enoch married Eliza Wootton but I do not have a date or place. I have been searching for a record of their marriage for over 15 years! Perhaps you can help.
Enoch and Eliza had 7 children Elizabeth, Thomas Harrison, Mary Ann, William, David, Eliza and Enoch.
Enoch was my grandfather and was known as Sydney Enoch Cattell.
Enoch the elder died in Wednesbury 10 Jun 1879.
I would be interested to if you are related or if you have any further informaion about this branch of the Cattell family.
