I don't know if we have enough information yet to make a match. We have excerpts from a book of Cattells that states in part (Chapter 49) that "John Cattell brought his family from France to England, settling in Worcestershire. His children were:
George Cattell, of whom more.
Joseph Cattell.
Samuel Cattell.
Harry Cattell.
Elizabeth Cattell.
George Cattell (son of John C, above) was b. ca 1904. (note: this has to be an error, as...) He m. and had this child: Jack Cattell, b ca 1904 (this is correct as is the following, because this is my father), came to Michigan,
m 6/2/1928 Margaret Moore, b ca 1927 (error - my mother was born 1908) at River Rouge, Mich.
Note - Jack Cattell says that as far as he knows he is the only one of the family to come to the U.S.
Note - On a 1961 phone call from a Detroit motel, Jack Cattell told me that he had gone to school with a Cattell from Defiance Oh, (note - NOT POSSIBLE) the lead which gave me the whole missing western Ohio branch descended (FROM WILLIAM CATTELL #210 ABOVE, and his last five children.

This is the only part of the Cattell book that seems to relate to my family.
My Grandfather George Cattell, of Langley Green, married Sarah West, of Warwickshire. There are several Cattell families in and around the area southeastern a few miles from Birmingham.
