My mothers family was also in the trail of tears, iam trying to find any one that my connect to a james william catron belive the spelling was different at one time of catron. My mother belives that james change his middle name to cecil at one time.. he was born in 1881 but henrys book say 1971. He married a Womac, He didnt talk about his family.. hmmm.. My mother was only 14 at the time of his death. and he was reaching 60 years old, would really love to find any thing on him. my mother is the only child living of his.. thanks for any thing any one can tell me.. I know that his mother died at his place, but they only lived in a tent at the time of her death.. they were very poor. and i dont know why he wouldnt talk of his family.
