I am looking for information about Zackariah Cattron who is listed on a marriage bond in Wythe County as marrying Mary Ann Stroup, daughter of Peter and Magdalin Venrick Stroup. George Hardin was the surety on the bond. Is this Zackariah the son of Christian and Sarah Venrick Kettenring? If so, then what happened to the marriage? Did they go through with the marriage? I ask these questions since a Molly Stroup (Mary ?) is listed as having illegitimate children in Wythe Co. just a few years later and Zachariah Cattron, son of Christian and Sarah, moved to Sullivan Co., TN and had a wife with another name. If someone can enlighten me I would appreciate it. Peter Stroup was my ggg-grandfather. Thanks.
