Catron of 1008 Hi, Dale. I suppose that all variations of the Catron name derive from the original Kettenring or Kettering from Germany. You'd have to try to trace your parents back a few generations to find out. There's plenty of documentation on this family - maybe someone who has the books could do some look-ups for you - I don't have any of that information but others in the forum might be able to answer some of your questions.
