I believe the only Indian blood you will find in the Catron family would be thru a marriage. The Catron's are from what is now Germany. The name was originally Kettenring and has been changed to many spellings, including Cattron/Catron/Ketron/Katron etc.
Henry Hardy Catron who wrote the book on the Kettenring family, did mention that there were a few Kettenrings ( or variation of that spelling) that were Indian, but that they only took the name and were not descended from the immigrants. Don't have anymore details on that comment. He never mentioned who those folks were, just made that comment.

Good luck in your search. If you could send me some info on your ancestors as far as you know, I maybe be able to help you to at least rule it out. Please e-mail me direct.
