Hello,

According to my Daniel family lore, Samuel Perry Catron was my great-great grandfather. He was a Union soldier who met my great-great grandmother, Sarah Catherine Daniel, in Claiborne Co., TN. My great Grandfather, John Washington Daniel, was born 1/7/1866, as a result. Does anyone know anything about this story? Louis Catron says Samuel was a Confederate soldier who married Caroline Bowen. The 1890 census of Scott Co. VA says he was a Union soldier. The birth and death dates and places all match. Any info? Thanks.
