Dear Beth,
Sr. Frances Grace must have been very very popular! 3 or 4 other people have been trying to find her. There are posts for her on Feb 16, 2006, July 23, 2009, and Aug 23, 2009.

If she is still alive, she will be in the Catholic Directory. You can phone the bishop and ask his secretary to look her up, or see if your public library has it. Libraries of Catholic universities usually have one. But I think you need to know her surname.

Your best bet to find her, whether she is still alive or not, is to contact the motherhouse of the Dominicans who staffed your school. If you don't know which branch of the Dominicans it was, contact the Dominican motherhouses in the school's area or in the school's diocese. They can give you standard biographical information that would be in a newspaper article about her taking her vows or arriving at a new assignment or celebrating an anniversary of her vows or in her obituary.

Now I have to end this one so I can go to the August 28, 2009 post and get an address.
Sincerely,
Kate
