There is no evidence he died in Arkansas. He probably died in Alabama but we do not know when. It was probably between 1842 and 1848. My great grandfather moved to Arkansas with his brother Archibald. Their burials sites in the large McCoy grave yard, near the old New Edinburg, are well marked.
