Barbara, You do not know me but I am definately connected to the Cathey's and Campbell's of the George Cathey Family of Tn. and N.C. George Cathey was an Ancestor of mine through my mother Pearl Davis and also the William Campbell in the 1823 Court Record in Wilson Co. Tn. was a brother to my Gr-Grandmother Rebecca Campbell Davis. They were children of Margaret Cathey and Allan Campbell of Haywood Co. N.C. Margaret Cathey was a dau of William Cathey, Sr. who was supposedly a son of the Above George Cathey. ( This George was listed in Boyt Cathey's book as George # 5355 Cathey. I have much info on these Cathey's,and Campbell's .
