My grandfather, Charles Cathcart, was born 1/16/1867 in North Carolina. I think his mother was Margaret or Mary Misenheimer, and his father was J. H. or John Cathcart, married in 1856. They left NC about 1870 and moved to Moscow, KY. I have not been able to determine who his father and mother were with certainty, and have not been able to locate them in KY. There is a CATHSCOTT family in KY with similar names and birthdates. I would like to know who his father was and where they came from originally. I found my grandfathers whereabouts when he married my grandmother, Ora Baker, in Sebastian Cty. AR in 1890, but have nothing before that. I would appreciate any help.
