There are a few out there that really know this line, and I was hoping I could get one of you to see if this holds up. I have pieced this together through internet searches and want to make sure this holds up before I go further.

I am certain up to Berry, but like all, i have seen some conflicting info.

Also, does anyone know if this Cates family originated in Scotland? Clan Keith is has a sept "Cate/Cates"
