My Catchpole line comes down from Noah Catchpole (1700s)in Bungay, Suffolk. There are a lot of Catchpoles from or in Suffolk. My Gr-Grandfather was Alfred George Catchpole which was later changed when he served in India (long story). I look forward to hearing from you and wish you luck in your searches.
