Hi Barb, just noticed post thought I better get in gear and answer you! As far as "Chaleco" I know nothing, but the only 1 of family I was around was Alfred Gregory Castro
my father. I believe that George {might have been 1 of others?} worked or ran a psychiatric or mental hospital etc. in Big Sur at one time. Their mother Carmel {Carmelita} was an ALVISO. Hope this helps? Peter Castro
