look at familysearch.org. there is a lot of inofrmation regarding the castro family, as well as the sotos. These folks were a part of the second anzio expedition and are all interconnected. you might also look at los californios, they have some information, too.
Another place to look is the catholic church in watsonville. quite a few castros were married and buried there and they have some baptismal records. Pablo was the grson of Jose Jouaquin who was married to one of the Amador girls who apparently died young, then he married a briones and had a bunch children. good luck. hope this is hlepful
