My Castro ancester was a Naval Officer who wound up in the Philippines. During Spain's occupation, the Philippines was run from Mexico. I have yet to find his name, though.

My grandmother was a Castro - Comine, whose ancesters hailed from Galicia. Still trying to get back before 1895 (year Natividad Castro was born).
