William, you might check out the DeCastro forum. There are some interesting connections there. Of note is the history of the DeCastro line dating from around 800 ad in Castile.
Your line, it appears is from around what is currently East Belgium. How they got there is another story, albeit an interesting one, so you should defintely check out the DeCastro forum.
It appears, at some point the DeCastro's split into two clans, one devoutly Catholic, the other Jewish. With all the referneces to religion in your document, it appears your group is the former, but I couldn't really say which without further research. The Jewish line apparently left Castile somewhere around the 1400's-1500's, allegedly during the Inquisition. Soem ended up in Portugal, some in England, and my "Castros" ended up in mexico eventually. It appears that some of them dropped the "De' when they migrated.
So, as you can see, the document you have does contain some valuable clues, especially since it appears that some of the DeCastros having been looking for that "missing link" and this may be one of them. good luck in your search
