Clayton,

Have you gotten any new info on your Castro's? I do know that my Grandmother's family came from Galicia (it was Celtic before Spain took possesion). Castro's were Sephardic Jews, who either converted to Catholicism [conversios], fled their homeland, or were killed back in the 15th Century. This has been documented by the Church.

The Castro name comes from living around a castle, like the one in Galicia. Many Castro's made their living on the sea.
