Seeking info on Wm Jos Castro (b abt 1865). Implicated in dynamiting dams here at end of 1800's and also of 2 murders of Mormons in UT,CO,or NM abt same time. Possible rel. to Peter and Philip Castro of Bellview Stn., Madera Co., CA. WJC marr to Sarah E Cochran of Bellview Stn. Registered to vote at Jones Store in 1890. Used presumed alias of "Castewa" in Dec 1909. Poss rel of Chowchilla Indians banned in 1850's to S. Benito Co and to Monterey Co., CA Span. land grant Castro's.
