My great grandfather was Leon J. Castonguay and was born 1847 in Canada. Married Mary M. Malliat (Malliot). She was from France. The spelling of last name was changed from Castonguay to Castonia. I'm at a dead end on to where and how this was changed. Everyone now dead that probably could tell me. Unless I can find something on where Leon was born and his parents.
