I ordered the book (see below - I think it was $40) and it was very helpful.
It covered from the first ancestor (Gaston Guay) through around the late 1800's for my wife's branch of the family. I've since donated the book to the Maine Franco-American Genealogy Society in Auburn, ME (otherwise I would have been glad to look stuff up for you).
Also a big help was the web site http://www.telusplanet.net/public/bjlcasto/Ancestry/index.htm.
