My great grand father was Louis Castonguay. I know that he had a farm in Canada and then moved to Maine and later to Holyoke Ma. My great Grandmother was Marie-Jeanne Rioux and I was told that she was an orphan raised by Parisien Nuns.
I believe that they were married in Ste-Helene Kamouraska and had 15 children. She died young when my grandmother was 16. Some of the childrens' names were
(my grand mother) Marie-Jeanne Aurore, Marie-Eva Phoebe,
Marie Albertine, Marie-Diana, Joseph-Albert, Joseph-John,
Joseph-George. If anyone has any info on where we fit into the Castonguay line I would love to find out. Thank You.
