Henry F. Castle murdered in Civil War.
He was a son, husband, and father of two daughters. He was just a number in the Civil War. Nobody remembers, Henry Castle from a small town in Illinois. By me putting his name here, maybe its some recognition that he was more than just a solder of the Civil War, his descendants don't even know his name. That I feel is a real tragedy. I myself never even knew of this uncle of mine, until I started doing my family tree. Henry Fleming Castle was murdered in Andersonville Prison, in Georgia. They, the record keepers say his death was caused by diareha. A family record states they starved him to death, and that is murder. And no one person was ever held accountable for my uncle death. I've been in contact with his descendants, but they don't really seem to care for their family history. I placed another message if you browse down for Henry Castle. I love you uncle Henry, and I know god made a place for you in heaven. May your name never be forgotten again!
