Lucretia CASTLE 1850 census of NY

I found a Lucretia Castle age 13 (b. abt 1837) living in the William PRATT household in Edwards, St. Lawrence Co., NY. Pratt household: William age 53 b.NY, Mary Pratt age 44 b. VT, Angeline (PRATT) 13 b. NY, Lucretia CASTLE 13 b. NY, Caroline ? 9 b. NY, Alfred ? 7 b. NY. William Pratt's wife Amanda d. Mar 1850 just prior to the June 1850 census. Was Mary PRATT a second wife and are Lucretia, Caroline and Alfred her children by a previous marriage? Angeline Pratt is the daughter of William but there is a 13 year age gap between William's son Abel 26 on the 1850 census and sister Angeline. Just trying to find out how Lucretia CASTLE connects to my Pratts. Any help appreciated.
