Hello, I too am looking for the Castle family. As a result of my search in the National Archives of Canada, I found that WILLIAM VICTOR CASTLE served in the First World War.The record showed that he was born on November 20, 1988 in Middlesex, England.Married to VIOLET MAY CASTLE.He was 27 years old when he signed his Attestation Papers. The papers were signed on March 12, 1916, in Lachute, Que.At the time he signed the papers, VIOLET MAY CASTLE lived in Brownsburg, Quebec. You can have a look at this information (the actual form in shown under this search) yourself at www.archives.ca.I hope this information helps a little bit!
I am currently looking for any information on two brothers: my g-grandfather, HARRY THOMAS CASTLE, September 17, 1887 to February 4, 1974.I don't know where he was born, I'm assuming London, England, and know he passed away in Calgary, Alberta.HARRY THOMAS CASTLE was married to ISABELLA JEANETTA SARGEANT (born 1889 - where ? and died in Calgary, Alberta, on March 3, 1937) HARRY's brother CHARLES HAROLD CASTLE was born on September 22, 1889 and died on January 3, 1976.Birth place unknown, and he also died in Calgary, Alberta.CHARLES HAROLD CASTLE was married to DORTHY CASTLE - no maiden name available (November 18, 1889 (or 1890) and died in Calgary, Alberta, on December 4, 1970).Sorry about the "mouthfull".Maybe you have come across these names in your search.I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Kim.
