I'm new to this board and I was browsing through some of the old posts and came across one from Alexander Castillo. In the title he makes refernece to "son Encarnacion" but there is no mention of Encarnacion anywhere.
Can anyone fill me in on information about Encarnacion? Who are his parents? Who are his children? Spouse? Birth and death dates?
My mother's maiden name is Castillo. Her Grandfather (Ezequiel Castillo b. 1896) told her that his father's name was Encarnacion, possibly even Juan Encarnacion. Family history claims that this Encarnacion was tall and had fair skin. It is also said that he was of Spanish descent for whatever that's worth.
I don't know much about him but I did find a land record on Rootsweb that shows an Encarnacion Castillo owning 160 acres of land in the Sabine Parish of Louisiana in 1889. Here's the direct link: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/laland/laland.pl
Any help, tips or information will be greatly appreciated. I know more names and dates of Ezequiel's family and children if anyone is interested.
