My grandfather was originally from Montana,San Luis Potosi, Mexico, (a small village) and my grandmother was originally from San Luis Potosi(the capital city of the state of San Luis Potosi). They married in Cerritos, the city I believe you mentioned where your family originated in Mexico. This Cerritos is about 5 miles from my grandfather Torres' and my grandmother Pachicano's home in Montana. They did much of their "shopping" in Cerritos.
They left Montana in about 1912-13, and emigrated to Central Texas.
I am just curious to know if anyone in your family, whether in Mexico or in the U.S.A., might have have friends in that part of Mexico who would know any Torres or Pachicano families with whom I might communicate in order to find out more about the Torres/Pachicano genealogy in the area.
Any assistance would be appreciated, and good luck in your own research
