Sorry I can't help you on Ellen Castillo. However, Spanish surnames in Ireland come from the time of the defeat of the Spanish Armada. Many Spanish ships were destroyed or sunk. The sailors had no means to get back to Spain and therefore remained where they landed. If I run across any information on Ellen Castillo, I'll send you an E-Mail.
