I am seaching for information on my great great Great Grandfather Robert Castile born in Tenn. aprx. 1845. According to the 1880 Census (Rock Township, Jefferson Cty) He married an Emily born in Mo. aprx. 1848. They had three children, Sophi ape 11, Robert T. age 9, Charles E. age 6.
According to a census in 1900 in St Louis, Robert T. Castile married a Lizzie Kerberich whos folks came from Germany. They had Ella born 1893 and Allen born 1896. I have Allen's line on to me. Does anyone have any information on any of the other Castile's or who they married or where these Castiles originated. I know the name Castile descends from Spanish origin. But I have also found a Count Castile from Germany, I don't know where mine originate. Any help out there?
