Additional information: Edmond du Castell who used a signet-ring belonging to the most illustrious Flemish family du Chastel du Blangerval ( and therefore is likely to be a descendent) married Christian van Bom not Boone or Bonde. She was descended from Cornelius van Bom who came with ship "America" to Philadelphia i 1683? from Rotterdam, Holland. The mistake of confusing the names was made by the author of the 1938 article in the Boston Transcript and later corrected by some other researcher - donīt know who. Do you have this article? The du Chastel de Blangerval family has a very intersting background am still trying to research it. Hope to hear from you again - since there is still more info to share.
