Hi Thanks for responding to my message. I do beleive you are my grandfathers cousin. My grandfather Cecil Jesse Casteel was the son of Harry francis Casteel.
Now as for Stephan and elizabeth i can tell you that Stephan was born in tennessee and his parents Daniel and Rhoda (hensley)were also born in tennnessee. Now this tree of the family seems to be a harder one to find anything out about . I found a reference in a court document to Daniel and and Rhoda from Scott County Va. Dated feb 1819.
And have lots of refrences to them in Pike County ect.Am still searching for more info on all my self .
Also i do know that Daniels parents were Francis Casteel born 1755 and Mary [Casteel (?)] born 1759. Still looking for more on them . But please do email me or whathave you as I fing it very nice that you were my grandfathers cousin, he passed away a couple of years ago. My father will be very interested i do beleive . And any info on any of these desendents would be great.
