I am searching for information about the family of Woodfield CASTSTEEL born in Tennessee around 1810.
The only information I have is an 1860 census record that has him living in Dallas County, Texas.
He was a wagonwright. He was married to Nancy, and had four children in 1860: Elizabeth 7, George 5,
James 3, and infant. There is a land patent in Tarrant County under Nancy CASTSTEEL's name, and I am
doing research on this area. However, the patent was given out before 1860. Any information on this family
would be appreciated. I believe the spelling of their name changed, which is making this a more difficult task.
