I'm seeking information about Peter Casteel (b. abt 1775; d. 1833)in Greene Co TN. Peter Casteel m. Susannah Richardson 08 May 1800 in Greene Co TN. Peter Casteel is said to have been the son of Zachariah Casteel (b. abt 1751 d. abt 1820) in Greene Co TN. Zachariah Casteel's wife was said to be Elizabeth.
Can anyone provide the names of Peter and Susannah Richardson Casteel's children? It has been said that they are listed in his will of 1833, which we are in the process of ordering from the Greene Co Historical Society in Greeneville TN. Are any direct-line male descendants known? We always are happy to share information with other researchers.
