Unfortunately, no. My dad was born in the early to mid 1920's, so Marshall could have been born in the late 1800's or early 1900's. George Casteel, Marshall's father, would have been born prior to that, of course.

My dad, George Curtis Smith, was born George Curtis Douglas Casteel, but his mother died when he was 3 while his father, Marshall, was away, he was told, looking for work in the oil fields. My father was reared by his maternal grandmother, a widow named Smith, and she had a birth certificate made with the last name Smith instead of Casteel. We spent every childhood vacation looking for Marshall. My dad passed away never learning anything about him. After my divorce a few years ago, I changed my name to Casteel, in honor of my father.
