Looking for information on Joseph Castell.
According to the 1900 census his name was listed as Casteel. He was b. in Jan of 1866 in Kentucky. His parent's could have been John and Mary Casteel. Joseph was my gggrandfather. He married Martha Curtsinger in Washington Kentucky Dec.13,1884. They had several children: George Mar 1867, Albert Dec 25, 1887 (or 1888) Amanda aka Mandy Aug 1890, Mary Alice June 1892, Rosa June 1896.
Daniel July 1899, and Everett b. March 1902.
Joseph was believed to be part Indian.
He was shot in 1904 after a fight with the local bartender. Any help would be appreciated!
