Susan,

I too am obsessed with Casteel research and have been working on the Casteel link between France, England and the U.S. I believe that my Casteel (Du Chastel) line were French Huguenots who fled France in the late 1500's or early 1600's. I am also working on a screen play which is based on France in the mid- to late 1500's. It is in part historical fact as well as geneaology research. Any true life accounts that you come across on the Casteel family would be greatly appreciated.
