No, No, No. You got it all wrong. You are pronouncing it the "gringo" way!

the correct pronunciation is

Kas (short a) ta (short a) ņe (like a French or Italian gn and a short, single e, sounding like the e in elf) da (short a) By the way, short a is the only way of pronouncing a in Spanish. And when you se an e in Spanish, eh, like in elf or Ellen, is the ONLY way to pronounce that letter in Spanish. When you see i in Spanish, then is when you pronounce it like an English ee like in eel or feet.
