i was born in eagle pass,tex. 1934, left to waco,tex. 1948 after my grandfather's death.as far as i can remember there was only 2 castaneda families in town. my grandfather's& felix castaneda's family. felix was a mechanic i didn't know his family,but his grandson is the present police chief in town. castaneda's left in town are salinas, hobbs,pereida. the castaneda name left town when i moved to michigan 50 yrs.ago if you want more info. email me.
