In the 50's and 60 's growing up in Eagle Pass, there were only 3 families with the Castaneda name. One was not related to me, it was the family of Gerado, he was a barber and had at least two sons, Oscar and Gerado. The other family was that of my uncle Vicente and my own family, that of Manuel. I know my dad had other siblings and he mentioned San Angelo. His dad was Jose and his mom was Clara and he used a middle initial M which I think stood for Macvein or something like that. Maybe we have some connection, check it out.
