Well, I'm learning as I go. Thorne is part of Yorkshire, as I've discovered since I posted the first message months ago. I just remembered changing trains in Lincoln when I visited ten years ago and figured it was Lincolnshire. It's actually the West Riding of Yorkshire, as I've discovered in GenUKI's wonderful website.
