Your Michael certainly sounds promising! I will definitely hang on to your information and keep digging. So far I haven't been able to find any records for John or Thomas in Kilkenny.

A family member said she heard only two of the seven brothers came over, but I did find a Patrick and Ellen Cassin living in Milwaukee in 1860 with children, the same time John and Thomas were there. Patrick was about the right age to be another brother, but I haven't found any ties to him.
