Hi Bonnie O, We hope We have some information regarding your ancestors. We live in Coolroebeg and our next door neighbour is called Patrick 'Paddy' Cassin. He is a dairy farmer with land in Coolroebeg(the farmhouse is situated there), Powerswood, Chapel Hill and Killvinoghe. He has a brother Jim Cassin, Msgr. James Cassin, President, St. Kieran's College to be executive secretary, Education Commission of the Irish Bishops' Confrence. They are both very nice freindly people. On their maternal side they are Hanrahans. Between Paddy's farm and our farm is a disused farmhouse and land being rented. This property belongs to Dottie Hanrahan though she resides in Huggenstown or thereabouts. We ourselves reside in 'Hogans' farmhouse though are family name is FitzGerald. We have resided in Coolroebeg for a decade having originated from further down the Arrigle Valley near Inistioge in the townsland of Coolrainy near Ballyduff House. Don't hesitate to contact us by email. Good Luck!
