Looking for information about my great grandfather James Cassels. Married Laura P. Johnson (not sure about the Johnson)
probably in Kennett, Dunklin County, MO. She was born in 1863 died Malden, MO in 1946. They had two children Thomas Benjamin Cassels b.17 Feb 1885 d 3 Mar 1937 in Los Angeles, CA. Served in U.S. Army from 1911 to 1919. Was discharged as Capt. 11 Oct. 1919. My grandmother was Mattie Louise Cassels b 20 Sep 1887 in Kennett, MO d 13 Feb 1956 in Malden, MO. Married Dr. John A. Hogue of Holcomb.
The ONLY info I have on James Cassels is that he is buried in Ohio. Anyone out there have a James Cassels born about 1860?
