I am a descendant of John Cassell born August 1842 in Pickens, S.C. His father was John Cassell Sr. mother Elizabeth Chastain. He had 3 brothers Andrew, Dillon and Jackson. I think you are the one who wrote my uncle Shorty Cassell. I have a copy of the letter he sent you. My father was Robert Marion Cassell, Shorty's brother. There father was George Arthur "Art" Cassell and mother was Georgia Ann Morgan. Could you please verify that I have properly interpreted this title and also let me know if you have any more information about the Cassell's. My father was killed in WW11. I was only 1 month old and do not have a lot of information on them. My aunt Esther (Cassell) Zanocco is the only one left living and she can't remember a lot. Please Email me if you can help. I have just started researching the family line and don't have a lot to go on.
